Qualifications: Diploma Early Childhood and Degree in Teaching and learning Early Childhood
Experience in industry: 17 years experience in teaching and management roles within the early childhood sector. Trained and worked in mixed age childcare centres for first 3 years then moved into teaching and head teacher roles within the Northland Kindergarten association. Prior to and after having children worked part time as a Senior Teacher within the kindergartens and then went on to set up Baby Steps nearly 5 years ago.
What I love about working in early childhood: I laugh every day! What a privilege it is to be a part of these families lives and their child’s development in the precious pre-school years.
What I love about Step Ahead: The amazing and dedicated teachers that provide a stunning environment where children can develop to be the best of themselves.
My likes: I love seeing people reach and achieve goals. I love food!! And spending time with friends and family.
Dislikes: Negative people! Being woken too early in the morning!
